NSA guys have 2 door Jeeps too??Well, let's say that you do leave your plate numbers visible on the photos that you take of your vehicle. Maybe, somewhere along the way, you rub someone the wrong way and they realize that you live close to them because you post your location. So, they just happen to see a vehicle that looks like yours in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart and since you allowed your plate to be visible, they know it is you. Maybe they just show their displeasure with you by keying your vehicle. Maybe they follow you home to see where you live... Maybe they have some ulterior purpose and the security concerns escalate from there. It's easy enough to blur the license plate number before you post the photo online, so it takes very little effort and possibly gives you a bit more security. It protects people from the casual nut-job. Since the NSA is reading everything we post, it doesn't protect us from the *professional* nut-jobs though.![]()
