As far as ive seen on " YouTube " Mt02 have different compound from older pat mt. Tread last longer on them. From what ive watched many say good things about those tires.

Personally will be looking for upgrade once my tires are done
So I keep an eye on KM3 39s, Pat mt02 38s and wildpeak rt 38s.

Take that for what it's worth. When im on trail we run Mickeys and Nittos, so have zero experience with those tires personally I mentioned above personally.

Ran 38x15.50R20 Patagonia's until they were around 50% tread and then I was loosing traction even on dry pavement. They balanced out perfectly and no blow outs. Switched to 38x13.50R20 Cooper STT Pros and Battle Born beadlocks and love them! 2.0T/e-Torque, 4.88 gears, 3.5" MC GameChanger with 2.5" Fox tuned by Accutune. The steering wore out quickly but since replacing haven't had any other issues. Driving amazing on and off-road. Had some rubbing on the inner fenders in the rear but trimming fixed it.

Edit: Brakes were a major issue for me; upgraded to 16" rotors and 4 piston calipers. Definitely a must have with this much rolling mass

I have spent over $9000 on tires is the last 6 years. The Milestar Patagonia tires are the worst tires I have ever owned. Meaning of all the tires I have ever bought in my life.

Ever notice there is no one saying just pulled my Pats off at 50,000 or 60,000 miles. Like NEVER. You do hear that these Pats are great tires up to about 5,000 miles then the praise for them stop. Sure there may be a couple that say good things about them. But I just figure they just don't know any better. Like if you don't know, you just don't know. They are not cheaper to run, they are just cheaper to buy. Go smack your Jeep up because they have horrible wet traction as you crash your Jeep in the rain because they stop ike shit.

I always laugh when someone say they are not like that. I am like dude, your Jeep has anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control. These nanny systems mask the poor performance. Slap them Pats on a 1997 XJ and spin the Pats all the way up in to 3rd gear on wet pavement with stock gearing or have the pathetic rear drum brakes overwhelm the Pats as you try and stop at the small incline on your driveway from 10 mph.

I have to stop typing about how much I hate the Milestar tires. To the the YouTube influencers that pushed these tires on the Off Road community. Fuck them too. 99% of them don't run them after they had to pay for them with their own money.

There are just so many better tires out out there that will last longer perform better. Ever notice that there is almost no one saying, Slashed the sidewall on my Cooper STT PROs, Mickey Thompsons, Rid Grapplers. Yet off roading, it is one of the most common failures of the Pats.

Jumping off my soap box.

I have 38" Pats, they are hot garbage. Got them cheap as hell and still wonder if I overpaid. But 38s will fit with a mild lift if you are willing to cut a bit. I chopped my fenders, and trimmed the pinch and they only mildly rub in the front under full stuff with stock Rubi springs and 2" spacers.

The funny part is when they first came out.. People complained about the noise after few thousand miles. And milestar released a statement via multiple youtubers saying their tire was designed to run on the center treads... The funniest design I have even seen.

"Oh by the way.. this is how our tire works. You need to pump it up to 40 psi to keep it nice and quiet."

Milestar or Tireco doesn't even own a tire manufacture facility as far as I know.

I may put pats on mine this spring along w an AEV 3" lift. I only run about 5k miles a year on my jeep. Im still open to other tires but for the miles i drive and the cost, they should be fine

A friend of mine is running 38s on a JLUR. He had to trim his fenders and the pinch seem in the rear to fit without rubbing. He has a MC game changer
That's definitely one of the things I'm glad I upgraded early on. Aftermarket fender flares are a huge game changer. Even the Rubicon fender flares are still pretty low compared to some of these aftermarket ones. ;)

Yup pump them up so a tire that is 12.5 inches wide has a contact patch the of about 5 or 6 inches wide. Then you understand that they are terrible for braking on wet pavement if run as suggested by the manufacturer.

Hey, somebody that still runs Milestar Patagonia tires. Pump them up to 40 psi and do a calk test and post the results.
