Right, right, right, "I knew I was wrong, but I did it anyway for the fun of it!" Says the fool pretending to not be a fool.

And this is why I can't quit you. Even when presented with an admission of shenanigans, you choose to believe that the keyboard warrioring was in earnest and therefore set yourself up for the next round. Don't you go changing, Dusty.

You've met @autotragic? That strategy didn't work extremely well for him.

Glen doesn't get irate and start spouting vitriol. Just attempts to constantly pretend to be the smartest in the room, and when proven to be wrong, claims that it was all in jest and that he knew better all along in order to save face.

Glad that the OP found a solution for himself. However, I will say that given the extremely bad track record, I can’t understand why people still buy the manual transmission. It would be fun if it worked like it should, but it’s so darn problematic that I can’t make sense out of it.
Because I wanted one, and because fuck autopark. I actually considered the automatic, then got hit with the auto park reminder driving the wife's Jeep and remembered I hated it.

Don't worry about keeping the thread going though, I will try to fire it back up in about 2 years when my factory tires wear out and I slap on 35s and forget to do a 6th gear relearn, if that was the actual problem.

Hopefully the majority of people that were convinced that their wheels rotated at a different RPM than the connected axle have rethought their views. Hopefully.
You guys were fighting the good fight. I wanted to try a simplified version, but never got around to it until now.
Let's pretend you had a 1 to 1 ratio to simplify. Your engine spins at 1 rpm and you axle spins a 1 rpm. With 30" tires and an engine speed of 1 rpm the axle will complete a revolution in minute. Change the tires to 35", now how long does it take the axle to complete a revolution when the engine rpm is 1?

The analogies get challenging when it seems like some people don't fundamentally understand what RPM stands for.

That can't be. With bigger diameter tires they travel further so 1 Revolution Per Minute takes longer 😂 .
The bigger tire will take more time to complete a revolution, but the axle will not.

This game is so much less fun than getting the keyboard engineers all crabby.

It is all dependent on what hemisphere you are in. I don‘t see anyone addressing this here. Topics on forums swirl down the toilet in different directions due to the Coriolis Effect.

It takes the same time. It just goes further down the road (higher MPH at a fixed RPM).
