Yeah I think Ford realized getting rid of the base Bronco was a bad idea luckily they're bringing it back.

All I wanted was a base Bronco with the Sasquatch package but it's too late now.

It's not only Jeep that is feeling the lack of sales. But pretty much the complete auto industry. When approx. 70% of our Country's working class, are living paycheck to paycheck, plus credit cards are being maxed out, and loan interest rates are not payable for most, well..this is the end result. I hope in 2025, that it starts to rebound. But also to make this happen, the Hybrids and fully electric vehicles, need to be shelved for a while..IMO.

another Edit - also forgot to mention no rain channels at all, just another irritation during inclement weather.

EDIT - forgot to mention the rattling windows. Have had frameless windows on the doors before but never the rattling like the bronco. Tried some adjustments but when it was adjusted with no rattle, the window wouldn't stay in the track while closing. Rattled so bad surprised they never shattered. Even opening the door, the windows make a pretty good jostle.

Ordered the Bronco for the wife last year June and received in Aug with MSRP pricing. Already got rid of it earlier this year.

Problems with infotainment failures, slightly bigger body on trails which we didn't like. then the bigger issue were for passengers and kids in the back seat. Almost non existent air flow as the vents on the floor BARELY work, and the seats in the rear, got to be the most uncomfortable ever after just a few minutes.

I don't do faster speedy trails so it didn't fit what we do. My Jeeps are far more comfy and can get over much more of the obstacles in an "easier" fashion.

4XEs make up 40% of wrangler sales in 2024. With no EV or hybrid bronco choice, I bet that has a lot to do with wrangler sales being higher.

Not trying to be an arse with the laugh, but half the members of this forum argue that pushing the 4xe on everyone is the cause of poor Wrangler sales.

Edit: I have no dog in that fight, and there’s a chance my next car will be electric. I just find it funny that the 4xe is the cause of both higher and lower sales depending on who you ask.

Wrangler outsold Bronco by 44%, but I'm sure the hybrid offering helps. Would Jeep have not sold any of that 40%? I seriously doubt that. I'm sure a large portion of those would have been wrangler buyers anyway but wanted the tax incentives, extra power, and/or the ability to make short day to day trips fully electric. I'm sure some would have bought something else, but would it have been a bronco? More likely if they were purely buying for the plug in hybrid use they'd be in a grand cherokee 4xe, rav4, or other plug in hybrid suv.

I had a Bronco on order for 18 months. I even went out to Vegas and participated in their off-rodeo which was awesome. After 18 months I got an email from Ford saying they couldn't build my Bronco as ordered (covid/supply chain issues) and I'd have to downgrade or cancel. I canceled and ordered a jeep and haven't looked back, I couldn't be happier that I ended up in my jeep.

I think you're talking 2 separate issues tho. I'm suggesting that sales would have been closer between the 2 vehicles had Ford offered a hybrid or EV version. People claiming the pushing of the 4XE is hurting sales are referring to things like stellantis choosing to only allow 4XEs on dealer lots and no ICE models. But then we see ICE models move crazy fast when they do show up on a lot. I actually think that suggests wrangler sales would be even higher, and likely bronco sales a little lower, if those states were to stock ICE again in any large numbers. But that topic has been beat to death in other threads...

Yeah, I’m trying to avoid the whole flame bait argument, but half the people on this forum suggest stellantis should drop the 4xe altogether. I just made it a little nicer and broader by saying “push”.
