2" lift with Rough Country Lower Control Arm Relocation Bracket

Hello,

I have a 2021 Sahara 4 doors with a 2" lift, and I'm interested in the lower control relocation bracket. I came across a kit from Rough Country. I've seen some comments on RC and Amazon suggesting that it's suitable for a 2" lift, even though it's primarily designed for lifts of 3.5" or more. Has anyone used this kit with a 2" lift? If so, how did it work out for you?

I personally would not do the RC because it appears to be seperate plates.

What lift do you have? The most cost effective quality brackets I've seen are JKS's.

JKS: $200

I was in a similar situation and just decided to go with Adjustable Lower Control Arms. It does the same thing but better. It's barely more expensive but gives you a lot more flexibility.

There are some benefits to the brackets over just adjustable control arms, especially if you aren't concerned about loss of clearance.

Like what? Not trying to sound rude, I'm genuinely curious. I posed basically the same question many times and not once was told to go with the brackets over the LCAs.

For less than $100 you can get 2 mopar front lower control arms. They will do the same thing. 68322798AA is the part number.

Flatter control arms = better ride.

Adjustable control arms only fix pinion angle. They do not fix the actual control arm angl. For the best set up you would want both. Having your control arms as flat as possible helps to reduce the shock/impact forces when you run over something.
I have a rancho lift that netted around 2" of lift. I just used the extended Mopar lower arms for $100 and the rancho control arm brackets and that dialed in perfect.

As the ride height increases, the stock control arms are further down in their arc. Near flat (like stock) bumps are near vertical in travel. As the arm angle increases, there is more front to back travel for the same vertical travel. One of the reasons long arms were so popular on TJs, the longer arm is at a flatter angle at ride height.

Oh...this is very interesting, let me check with the local dealer how much they are charging.

I'm running them with the stock suspension on my 24 Willys. I ordered them from
AllMoparParts.com , they are a forum sponsor. I believe they were about $75 plus $25 shipping. I ordered XR fender flares at the same time and shipping was still $25, so it was was much cheaper than my local dealer even with shipping.

EDIT: Did you install the cam bolts for the lower control arms? Do you know what your caster was on the alignment?
