Information:

• Full electric plug-in hybrid JL Wrangler coming in 2020.

Incredibly excited about this! I really thought it would be a long shot for Jeep to release a plug-in Wrangler but this will make the JL the only car I need. Hopefully the engineers at Jeep can find a way to improve capabilities, like water fording depth by temporarily sealing off air intakes while running full-electric.

I would have to agree with those who are saying that the reveal was a real yawner. It would be more interesting to watch paint dry, as in Mojito paint, Sting-Gray paint, etc.

Watch just after the 20 minute mark in the reveal video. Sting-gray makes an appearance.

Yet the picture on that very same page (page 4 of the brochure) shows the "low-rise" fenders on the Rubicon.

Also can you remove the back panel windows on the 3 pc freedom top, or just the retractable and soft tops?

seems like you can't on the 3 pc freedom top. The power top can be removed altogether or you can remove the rear quarter glass panels giving an interesting look.

As great as this looks, I think the Sport is really just neglected. As the highest volume vehicle, it has received the least amount of options and visual flares. No more optional LEDs? No more upgrade off road package without going full blown Rubi? Why can’t we PAY for it if we WANT it??

It was more like a 1 page dealership handout of a presentation than a full-on reveal.

Didn’t think anyone could make a MicroSoft launch look polished.

Went to my local today and they said that I wasn’t able to order yet.

And if I can keep the Sahara w leather, 8.4, 4 cyl, power top under $50k I’m in good shape. Then just lift and tires thru mopar
