That’s a very interesting truth. Seems like everyone is buying rubicons on here (me too) but of all the JLs I’ve seen driving around I’ve never seen a rubicon. So weird.

Also for how many they’ve sold I see surprisingly few of them around.
Sores like these skew the demographics. Rubicon’s are a small percentage of sales.
Statistics of enthusiast forums rarely correlate with the overall population. It is a biased sample, so you can not extrapolate data of this forum to the population of JLs. Forum members tend to be more OCD about things, so problems seem like a bigger issue. Because this is an enthusiast forum, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a greater percentage of Rubicons and manual transmissions on here than in the overall population.

Two inch Mopar lift bolted on with 35x12.5x18 fuel Beasts! The Mopar lift is amazing. I feel no difference from when it had the stock suspension.

Is that an accurate statement about the ride quality? I think you are the first person to give that assessment. I'd love to add the lift but I love the stock ride. Great looking JLU by the way. ;)

I was nervous about lifting because I loved the stock ride as well. I lifted an Izusu Rodeo back in the day and every time I took a turn on the highway I thought I would roll the truck. I did not want the same experience with the Jeep. I drove 800 miles with the stock suspension. First I added the 35s without the lift. I can say on the highway I felt more planted with the larger tires. I have driven my lifted Jeep for two days and I see no difference from stock. I can take a turn just as hard as when it wasn't lifted. It does not bounce around as well. Mopar did a great job with this lift!

Awesome! I appreciate the follow-up comments. I just need to wait for the 2 door lift to be available.

There are a lot of Rubicons on this site, but most Wranglers in the wild are Sports!

Here is a picture of my Sport S. I love it!

Yep..
Just got my JL sport S today!! So excited. SG was hard to find. My dealer finally located one in Colorado after losing two in Texas and one in Missouri. Love the decal by the way...you selling those? Would love to have one if so.

The little red jeep on the spare tire wasn't in the center on mine, like on yours. That was driving me crazy every time I saw my JL's butt... Fixed now :giggle:

Congrats on your new ride. I ordered the same Jeep in the Sahara trim but was having second thoughts about the sting grey and the painted top. I've never seen a sting grey in person but after seeing yours I have no doubt I did good. I'm really excited now as mine showed up today, earlier than expected, so I'll be flying out this weekend to pick her up. Going to be a long week. Thanks for posting pictures. She's a beaut.
