Mine was in KZ before the 19th and it’s still sitting in Toledo waiting on a truck ride to the dealer.
Yeah....that's crazy. Nothing about your current situation makes any sense, especially since your Jeep is built and in the shipping status. Illinois is right there....

Nah, mine is a Sport S :) AND they have one on the lot that was ordered, and they wouldn't let me even look at it. So i think that lot is good to deal with (River Oaks)

My Mojito+TRMS was in and out in three days, one more day to get on a railcar, and on the move West. Now it just sits in the Gibson Indiana switch yard, day after day, getting dirty.

Hi James! Sorry yours isn't moving along very quickly. The ONLY reason I think mine might be flying through is because I essentially ordered a base Sport JLU. I didn't even order a Sport S. Because I needed a vehicle so quickly, I didn't add any special packages to it. The only thing I requested that cost extra was a hard top and auto tranny. And most dealers have that combo on their lots already, but no one had a Mojito; that was the only reason mine had to be ordered initially.

And when I say base, I mean, no tech package, no alarm, no mopar mats, no tinted windows, no powered locks/keyless entry (Sport model doesn't come with it; Sport S models do). So yeah...I think they had everything needed for my build at the manufacturing site, as hard tops and auto trannys are extremely common.

Now, if you ordered a Rubicon and/or added extra packages,...there are more chances of your build being postponed if they don't have everything needed for your build at the site. It's possible they have to ship parts in from different locations around the US, or from Canada or Mexico (depending on the item needed). The more additions requested, the more special/uncommon your Jeep will be; and potentially the more chances for any "issues" found along the way.

Now I can't say that this is the reason 100% as I can't confirm this information. But it is something I noticed by certain builds from this forum and others. It is rare that I see anyone post that their build is a base model sport without "the works".

I think that HAS to be the one variable that sets my build apart from most, and therefore has to be directly related to how quickly mine is moving through. I also think location is a major factor; as there are more people in the Houston area ordering Jeeps so railcars are easily filled and can be sent here quickly. Essentially there's not a long wait for Jeeps coming to this area, and therefore shipments here are more "cost effective" in the minds of FCA; therefore becoming more frequent. The least amount of orders coming in your direction, the longer it'll take to have your Jeep delivered to you.

Again, this is "my analysis" that I've developed from information posted here.

It's a theory, nothing official about it!
I appreciate the feedback and thoughts. I asked through JeepChat if D1 meant “all” the parts are available to start the build and the indication was they have “all the parts”. Who knows if all means all or there is some other curveball. I’ll just keep hitting refresh on my browser a few times a day until something improves...
I feel a little bit like I’m living one of those Operant Conditioning Psych Experiments where the mouse hits the metal bar until it gets variable reinforcement (reward) or goes crazy.
For me the bar is the F5 key and the reward = Jeep. :)

Here’s a quick video walkaround I took of a Mojito JL Sahara at the local dealer in Kirkland WA. Almost none of the many cars they order (they’re a volume dealer) have LEDs for some strange reason.

I was checking out what Amazon had to offer in regards to JL accessories, and I came across this hybrid tire cover. I never thought much of them in the past, but a friend of mine out in the SW said they're popular to help protect the spare from more direct UV rays. What are your opinions on them? Seeing that I ordered a Mojito Rubi, I thought I'd post in this thread. All pics are from Amazon.

There is a Mojito Sahara Sitting at my local dealer lot. It is ALMOST the Exact Spec I ordered...all it is mising it the LED Group, and that is something I will not go without.

What's all included in the LED Group? Just headlights, fogs and tails? Or is it something a bit more special?

Headlights, Fog Lights, LED DRLs, and Tail Lights. The Tail Lights also come with the Safety Group I think.

I also have a Sport (S) and I can tell you the LED Package would be a good value if they offered it on the Sport. I am just going to start with the headlights. It will be a while before I get them I bet and it will cost me around $675 just for the headlights. It is the only thing I feel like I miss getting a Sport.

Headlights, Fog Lights, Tail Lights, LED Signals, as well as LED Daytime Running Lights in the fenders and Halos in the headlights.
I have a JK and if the standard JL headlights are as bad as the JK...then I NEED the LED headlights.

Why is that? Most dealers Ive visited only have like 1 JL with the LED package for every 10 that don't have it.

My guess would be it keeps the cost of the vehicle down by $800 or so, which makes it appear more affordable. Most people test drive during the day so don't even use the headlights and see the difference.
