As for your question about rubbing, we've been running ours for a while with no rubbing or scratches to the paint. Unless you're grabbing the bungees and treating it like dental floss on your rig, you shouldn't have any issues.

I'm new here so forgive me if this is common sense, but Why is there a gap on the sides? Why wouldn't these be made 2 inches wider to cover this? Is there a reason for this? I'm in the market for a sun shade and trying to figure all this out. Thanks.

Our Granite Crystal JLU is rocking Cherry Red at the moment. However, Granite Crystal is one of those colors like black where ANY shade color looks good on it to be honest!

Yes, I have some shots of the Sand/Tan color but on a JK.

I seriously think the Sand shade would look HOT on your White on Tan Jeep, but you can't go wrong with either!
