The only acceptable solution from @ROAM would be be a full refund for those with the rusting side steps. That is how any respectable company would handle it. End of story!
As you can tell from my profile picture, I gave up on my ROAM steps and went back to the original rock rails. Good thing I kept them. With all the rust, the steps just looked like crap and made my Wrangler look like crap. If anyone wants to buy some rusty ROAM steps let me know.
My Roam steps are rusting badly. I sent an email asking if there was anything they could do. No response! I would go another direction if it's possible.
I love this look. Whats the best place to buy the LOD Stubby front bumper? I looked on Quadratec and it looks like this bumper is cheaper than ordering straight from LOD. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
Yes, I believe it's a little lighter than the crystal granite. The body color constantly changes with different lighting conditions so it's pretty close.
I took my roam steps off last weekend to change out the logo plate and noticed I also have rust on the underside. Disappointing! @ROAM care to comment?
Trial and error. I did 1 full turn and then went for a test drive. I got flashed once and still didn't like how the lights were hitting parked cars in the neighborhood so I went back and did another half turn. Haven't had any problems since. Not very technical but it seems to have worked.
I get flashed every time I drive my Rubicon at night so last night I adjusted my headlights down 1.5 full turns. This morning...not a single flash. Finally some peace while driving.
Yes, Let me know how it looks. I'll be upgrading to those same tires eventually. I'm going to wear out the original ones for a while. Those wheels should look great with Silver.
No problem with the spare. It does obviously stick out a little further than stock but I'm still able to get the plastic camera guard on. Just barely. You shouldn't have a problem with +6 offset.
