My official 600 page owners manual came in USPS yesterday. 2 weeks


Nope, you're not being unreasonable. FCA has done an embarrassing job in all this...especially for the 2 doors. For some part, I feel bad for the dealers as they don't seem to be in the loop at all. Mine sat on the lot for 7 days waiting on a full truck as well. Truth is, they have us over a barrel. All of us wanted and love a 2 door and I guess they knew we'd suffer thru all the delays, poor communication, etc.

Yes, true, but this is about the dealers, not the FCA. Look at PhotoGuy? Why didn’t dealer call??? Imy dealer takes a long time to answer when he does, with “I just got back to work and saw this”... I want a job like that!

Yes, in South Tennessee, soon to enter Carolina Final train destination Dixiana. Hopefully won’t stay there waiting on a truck! Dealer said about 2nd week of July, but it may be sooner!

But but.... your salesrep was confident it would be today!.

That just sucks man any way you could get them to go pick it up? Seem to recall they offered to do it for 400, maybe see if now they would do it for 200 or something.

I just did a 200 mile round trip with no doors and no mirrors. My son helped me navigate a couple of highway merges (stop sign to full speed just past the crest of a hill). It’s downright dangerous to drive mirrorless, IMO.

Yeah, I hope Quadratec ships fast! I’m actually putting the doors back on until they get here.

I ordered these mirrors this morning from Quadratec and they are back ordered, expected to ship August 10th
My Jeep is still KZ but hopeful it will be here in the next week or so.

I relocated my JK mirrors to the A pillar years ago so when going doorless they where always there. The issue was/is that the passenger mirror is pretty much worthless with doors on. Looking forward to receiving these mirrors AND my JL

Well i got a new one from the wrangler hotline today, When i called the girl said "your jeep will be at the dealer in two weeks" So i asked oh its in shipping? was told no. so its built and awaiting shipping ? No . I asked what was the status? D1 was the answer i got. I asked so its D1 but your sure it will be at the dealer in two weeks? " Yes give or take a day or two" More useless information from FCA customer service!

I am so glad I no longer have to deal with them. I knew every time I called that I would get "non information" but I called anyway as it was the only "hope" there was. Twice I was told it was built when it wasn't. I know the torture you are going through and I hope that you too can soon forget the Jeep # and start enjoying your new Jeep!

Yes I totally agree with you. But as you said it was our only hope. They sometimes
do get it right but not often. Most of them really do not care what they tell people.
It's a part time job and they know it will soon be gone. Please do call as you will get
a person who does care and will do the best they can for you. Evenings best time.

I just went out and looked at it. I would put a grommet in it and run the wires
through for a light bar. Makes for a clean way to look good. This thread really
helps out for all of us. So many ideas, what you can and can not do, and endless
questions answered. Just don't know were all of us would be without each other.
