just brought a 2014 wrangler unlimited with a brand new jeep engine installed 1 month ago, dove it around for a couple hours and when I parked it in the driveway,I noticed a spot under the jeep, turns out to be oil coming from the over flow, any idea

Heya, I don't have an answer for you, but 2014 would be a JK and this forum is specifically for the JL (2018+).

You mean motor oil?

If it's just coolant (will smell kind of sweet) may just be overfilled, but watch your temps next time and make sure you aren't getting hot.

You can also check the cylinder compression. Since it's a rebuild, there could have been assembly errors.

Oil in coolant, or coolant in oil, either way, typically means blown head gasket. Recommend not driving the vehicle anymore until it gets fixed, it will only get worse and can easily result in warped heads / engine replacement, if it isn't at that point already.

Not good. Likely a blown head gasket. Hopefully you got a warranty with it. Good luck.
it's a brand new engine from jeep so I have the 3 year and 36 thousand mile

straight motor oil.checked oil and looked fine
If straight motor oil is coming from the coolant overflow, is it full of oil. Can’t believe it would happen but did someone fill it with oil?

It was a new engine from a jeep dealer
