2019 JLUR, purchased 4 months ago (4/4/19), right at 6,100 miles on it. Had no issues thus far until today. Smelled coolant while driving, but engine temp was normal. When I got home and opened the hood, there is what appears to be coolant sprayed in the engine bay. It has a pinkish tint to it. I even wiped down the engine bay recently so I know it was not there as of just a few days ago. Coolant level is lower than "Min" mark (see picture)

I'll obviously schedule service with the dealer ASAP, but I wanted to see if anyone on the forum had experienced this - if there's a common place the coolant may leak from. It doesn't appear to be coming from the radiator, it is further back and appears heaviest around the oil fill area.

I saw this thread and the Jeep Informant video, but the pressfit hose into my alternator does not appear to be the source of the leak. I do not have any coolant on the garage floor either

Dealership replaced a coolant hose clamp near the thermostat. They also want to replace the tstat, but it is backordered until 8/19. They'll call me when it is available and I'll take the Jeep back in to have it replaced.

My first dealership service experience was fine; I called yesterday AM, they told me to bring it in as soon as I could. I arrived at 2:45 PM, and within 2 hours they completed oil change, tire rotation, diagnosed the coolant leak and make the repair.

More then likely it's the thermostat bypass housing on the front top of the engine right above the water pump where the tube is pressed in they leak then the serpentine belt picks up the antifreeze and throws it all over I had that problem with mine with 12 miles on it . If it was me I wouldn't drive it anymore the tube or pipe what ever you would like to call it has been known to actually blow out under pressure FCA put mine on a rollback to the Dealer and yes that part is on back order . Good luck !

I just picked up my 2019 Rubicon JLU with 6200 miles on it (3 months old) after a coolant leak. I was advise that I had a pinhole leak in radiator. Had to wait a week to get the replacement, but the service advisor said he was instructed to send my radiator in for examination as at least 40 other JLs have had this problem. He indicated that a recall could be a possibility. 40 out of the thousands sold doesn’t sound like enough to issue a recall to me but what do I know.
