I don't know where you're getting $1381 from...as of today, their website says $949.99 plus shipping of $114 so that's about $1063 according to my cyphering.
Ok after looking through my notes from March it was priced at $799. Now it’s $949 and $114 for shipping. That’s a 19% increase but still that’s gauging if you ask me. I’m sure If gas went up that much in such a short amount of time you won’t be calling it capitalism.

It's all about supply and demand...gas, Lift Pro, Ford Shelby Mustang GT's, Ford Raptors, whatever else is popular, etc...they all have premiums placed on them based on how many people want them and their availability and believe it or not, people pay. Raptors at one point in Texas had a $40,000 premium here and there is a 2018 Shelby Mustang GT sitting across the street in a dealer showroom from me right now with a $45,000 premium...or they call it, "Market Adjustment"....for a total cost of $97,000.

I get it. Trust me I get it. Capitalism at its finest. As long as I have a choice to avoid price gouging by choosing another vendor then I will go that route. I won’t follow the road most traveled by the uniformed to base my decisions on.

If hoisting to the ceiling is your thing great. If you or others have issue with the cost of a Top Lift Pro, please remember that one of capitalism's linchpins is consumer choice.

New York is communist too. Whoops, did I say that out loud? :cwl:
Yeah, we really don't need any of them coming down here. Last big influx of them during the Yankee Occupation after the War of Northern Aggression really screwed things up. We're slowly getting rid of the stupid laws that were forced on us at that time.

We built a hardtop lift out of a Troy drywall/panel lift because we don't have a garage to mount a hoist. Cost was $139 plus some scrap lumber and bolts. Works great.
