Hello everyone.

As I'm researching and learning more about the JL, I wanted to get opinions on the LED package from those who have received their Jeeps with this option.

I currently have JW Speakers headlights and I love them. Very crisp and clean cutoff with very minimal "glow".

How are the factory LED lights? Can you get just the LED light setup or do you have to order the entire Safety Group with the blind spot detection?

Thanks for any feedback that you can provide!

You can order just the led lights.

The factory LEDs are awesome, get them if you're ordering a new JL.

I just ordered the LED option. I don't have blind-spot detection on my JLUR. The lights are awesome and have such a wide field of view as well...perfect for me as I'm kinda' out in the country and have a lot of deer and other animals to contend with on the side of the roads at night. Now I can see them well in advance.

I would get the LED. They work great.

I used to own the JW Speaker headlights on my JKUR. In my opinion, the stock LED headlights on the JLUR outperform the JW Speakers on a JK. Even turning the fog lights off is noticeable.
I would definitely recommend the LED package to anyone ordering a JL.

I'm going to say the LEDs on this Jeep are the best headlights on a vehicle I've owned. You do not need to have the safety package to have the LEDs but you will have the same taillights as the safety package.

What do you mean the taillights will be the same? Sorry for the question lol :)

The safety group ONLY comes with the LED tail lights
If you want LED headlights, Daytime running lights/signals, fog lights, AND tail lights you have to get the LED group. You DO NOT need the safety group

If you get the safety group by itself, the tailights will be upgraded to the LEDs as those were specifically designed to house the blind spot sensors. However your headlights will remain standard. Getting the LED group by itself you will have full LED headlights and taillights, but the taillights will not have the sensors.

Another one for getting the LEDs. Was a must have for me and very happy with them compared to the aftermarket LED's i had on my JK.

I really appreciate everyone’s response :)

I just need to decide if I’m keeping min JKU for another year or if I should trade in. I drive so much the miles pile up!
