I have a leak in the midle of my freedom panel between the midle seam of the panel and top of the SOS lighted buttons. Anyone have the same? Got the same fixed? 2020 JLU.

Is there any dirt or debris in the rubber seal?
I'm going to check when 8t stops raining. I just found another thread about the front seal. I am going to take everything off again. I have an appointment at the dealership in 2 weeks so I hope I find the issue before I bring it in. Thanks

You can try rubbing some lithium lubricant along the rubber seals....may help.

Wipe the rubber seals of the panels and top of windshield clean, you can use wd40 to clean, then use a non greasy synthetic lube on all seals and kiss leaks goodbye.

Thanks, I'm going to clean it and treat the rubber. Somewhere it mentioned to use a coat hanger on the rubber trench where the water travels.

I had the same leak in the spot you mentioned. When I installed the passenger side freedom panel I ended up pinching the seal which was only visible from the top. I cleaned and lubricated the seal and reinstalled the freedom panel being careful not to pinch the seal and had no further issues.

Also clean the hard part if the freedom panels that lay on the rubber to make sure its free of crud or particles that would create a leak.

Well I removed the freedom panel, cleaned the rubber seals (not that dirty) and conditioned the seals. Placed the panels back and drove it through a car was twice and no leaks. Two hours later a mild rain storm and water was dripping in again. I'm going to remove the drivers side panel and check the seal on the panel again.

That is a bummer, fingers crossed you can run it down

Keep in mind that the leak isn’t necessarily coming from where the drip is.

I know when I apply my brakes the water drips in more. I'm thinking the back of the panel and running to the front. I also noticed my driver side panel has a white plastic nub that fits into a hole. The passenger side isnt down as far as the drivers side. It's raining here so I really cant pull everything off lol.

My understanding is the passenger side should be installed first, then the driver’s side. Do you think that could be the issue?

No, it can only be installed that way. The plastic pin on the passenger side is not as deep into the seating. I think an adjustment is required. Read allot of threads. That is one of two pins. One sits higher than the other.
