The sun hasn't come out much since yesterday. I do have to say, it looks a lot better in my drive than on the dealer lot.

Long time lurker, first time poster. FCA called me on Tuesday that my order was in paint. Got a call from the dealer tonight that my order had shipped and should arrive the first week of June. Ordered 1/25...firecracker red, 2 door Rubicon, PST, and every upgrade except safety and smokers groups.
Sounds like pretty much my exact order, but I ordered 4 days after you. Congratulations! Let's hope that this information is accurate and you get yours delivered quickly.

I've been seeing the amount of 2 doors slowly rising here in upstate SC, most of those are in Georgia. So there are a few heading in your direction at least =)

Looks like ~15 today within 150 miles of Upstate SC.

Of course they have all been in transit for a long time, but it has been going up by 1 or 2 every few days.
Right, Atlanta area is getting them

I'll post it if I ever receive one-so far...crickets.
Here's the BS response I received this morning:

Dear James,

Thank you for your response.

I do understand your excitement to see production on your vehicle move forward and I share in your anticipation.

Please know that Wrangler JL production is still in a launch phase and timing will vary depending on your unique, specific configuration. I am unable to verify nor comment on another owner's vehicle configuration or confirm the scheduling parameters for another owner's order timing. I am here to assist in reviewing your unique vehicle order and do wish to assure you that I am making every effort to ensure your factory configuration progresses within the ordering system on schedule.

With that being said, I presently do not have any further scheduling updates to provide beyond what we discussed in our prior email communication.

Production of two-door models equipped with the Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top were scheduled to begin production. A review of our factory resources do show scheduling of these models and production should begin mid to late May. Customers should start to see their vehicles that are ordered with this configuration should begin to be scheduled for production shortly.

As promised, I will continue to monitor your vehicle order and provide updates as soon as they become available. I will personally be following up with you early next week to provide you any status updates that may be available and, if necessary, further action I will personally take to ensure you are satisfied.

We appreciate your patience as we launch this exciting new product.

Sincerely,
Jeff

'i do not have any further scheduling updates'. then proceeds for two more paragraphs. i think some editing help is in order for jeff

perhaps presently meant this very instant that he was typing, but then an instant later, some additional information was available that was so pressing and urgent and GENERAL, that he felt he had to add it.

After being all excited about my build getting started Ive been stuck in JB status for a week now, and im thinking its probably the Mopar Headliner... For you guys that have been built or have taken delivery, did you also wait in JB. Any of you have a headliner?

nope, knowing jeep, it's likely the floor mats. that's a complicated procedure. requires special skills to install those

Dealer let me know today that my jeep is being painted. Not sure what the time frame is for paint to Indiana, but hoping its quick. Right now there are 28 two doors withing 150 miles in transit.

Order 1/9 Red Ruby everything but painted top and fenders, no headliner and not a turbo.

Hang in there. I'm sure yours will migrate south soon. Your build is really close to mine and it doesn't look like you have any of the delayed options. Edited: I just saw that you are D status still. :crying: Sending best wishes your way!

In the mean time, keep an eye out for a unicorn sighting. I am right in your neck of the woods!

Wondering about the 2nd row seat in the 2-door. In my JK, when folded forward, nothing holds it in place, so rotates back and forward with starts and stops. Is this also true in the JL or is there a bar stop or strap to hold it folded forward? Very annoying when dropping kids off at baseball or hockey as I have to fold the seat back down at each drop off...
There is a strap to hold the seat in place.

For those of you who believe your order should be being built now but is being skipped, I may have something for you to check.

I placed an order early March at a close-by dealership. They converted a previous stock order to my order information and updated the Scheduling Priority, etc.. After reading this forum, I knew to ask for a current POC/VIN. I finally got it later near the end of March. Order date was January, but the Scheduling Priority was "2-Fastest Moving Vehicle Order". I questioned this immediately with the Sales Manager and he told me that this was correct, that this will get it built as soon as possible. As of today, this POC/VIN is still in D and the dealership still maintains there is nothing they can do to speed up the order.

The above did not seem correct to me at the time, so I went to another dealership and placed another 'exactly the same' order in late March. I was hoping to get two delivered and work a better deal for one of them. The POC immediately had a Scheduling Priority of "1-Sold Order". This 2nd order went D1 on 5/6, and is scheduled to build on 5/29 (I have PST). Of course it is not built yet, so who knows what will happen; but this 2nd order was placed almost 3 weeks after I ordered with the 1st dealership and the 1st order kept its original order date of January.

So, get a printed copy of the POC and check that the Scheduling Priority is "1-Sold Order"...

I hope this helps!

Hey Larry!

Thanks so much for posting this. Unfortunately for me, mine has been a 1-sold order since 12/7/17 so I am still baffled. But it helps to know yet another PST order placed well after mine is already scheduled. Still in D....162 days and counting.
