What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Ugh, I just spent $1300 on a dual battery + 2 odysseys. Genesis sent me tracking numbers maybe not even an hour after ordering. That was the fastest shipping I've ever had I think. It'll be here Tuesday.

Been having dying-battery-gremlins for a year now.

Upgraded the audio...
19JLUR with stock 7" head unit.
PAC AmpPRO AP4-CH41 R.2
JL Audio JD400/4 amplifier
Kicker 46HS10 powered subwoofer
JBL Club 322F speakers in the upper dash
JBL Club 622 speakers in Metra kick panel pods with full soundmat and polyfil
JBL Club 622 speakers in the sound bar in Select Increments JLJT-Pods with polyfil

PacAMP unit is mounted above and to the left of the glove box.
Amplifier is mounted under driver's seat.
Sub is mounted under passenger's seat.

The system won't win any sort of car audio competitions, but it will play plenty loud when the top is off now. The sub is just enough to round out the bottom of the sound spectrum without being one of those annoying thumpers. So much better than that stock configuration from the factory. Better than my wife's factory Alpine system.

Wish I hadn't waited three years to do this.

Mopar 2" lift FINALLY installed. It's more like 3.3"-3.5"...

I don't know, so I'll ask:
What makes it possible for a 2" lift, for example, to depart from its stated specification so much? IOW, how would that lift kit provide in excess of three actual inches of increased ride height? Is there that much settling that must occur to get things back down to 2" or so? Just curious.

I've reconciled myself to the same expense, when the day arrives where I have to replace the original batter(ies) in my JLU. I've heard almost nothing but praise for the Genesis dual battery system (but for the salty buy-in expense.)

Replaced my tag on the jlr with the new Florida explore off road tag, has a picture of a jeep with surf board vertical on the rear. really cool tag.

Got a little more naked than usual with my soft top. Stripped it all down. Watching the weather a little more than usual!?

Added a couple spacers and shock extensions for now. Also replaced both TBs, and added front Rock Krawler X Factor LCAs to get my 37s transferred over from my other ride. Looks pretty good and rides/drives great. You can definitely tell the difference between the softness of the KO2s and the Nitto RGs though

Still need to get my Fox ATS SS put on, hopefully tomorrow. Then get my front steel bumper swapped over.

Thanks, I am liking Sting. Crazy how it changes colors in different lighting. Still indecisive on the color of Dirty Life wheels with it. The stock XR wheels are a little darker and went well with Sting.

The XR wheels look good on my other Jeep though lol

Certain light makes the SG look blueish. The KO2's do ride softer than my Toyo Open Country MT do. Your wheels almost look the same.
