It seems only oncoming jeeps get waved at and jeeps that are right next to me heading the same direction rarely ever wave lol

Anyone else notice this?

The Jeep wave varies in our Area. Phoenix metro area, about 60% wave. Most of the soccer moms don’t wave. Up here where I am currently in the mountains, a lot more TJ’s, about 90% wave.

As a former volunteer firefighter, people don't notice big red fire trucks or ambulances with flashing lights so i'm not surprised they don't notice another jeep coming in the opposite direction. So many people caught up in their own little world to even notice.

Being a motorcycle rider also makes you a much more aware driver, always scanning your surroundings, so I rarely ever miss another jeep driving by.

This. Motorcyclists have to watch out or we get ran over?
