seems like myself and sweetwater are in the same place. they say shipped but it’s a week after it was supposed to arrive (after the date being pushed back once a week) and they have no idea where it is or when it will arrive. this has been a fantastic first experience for my dream car :)
Yes it certainly is. This is my first factory order in my life. Too bad it
has been so screwed up. Mari I don't know about you but I am worn
out. No excitement--hoola--eagerness. Just calm as I have nothing
left. I am going to have fun here out. We should have them I would
say no later than 10--12 days. Been this long what the heck.

Questions about seat removal*:
1. Does anybody know where I can find a good plastic cover to store the backseats once I remove them? I did a quick online search but didn’t see anything so I figured I’d ask the pros here
2. Do you know the dimensions of the folded backseats so I can figure out where best to store them?

* Yeah I know, I don’t even have a Wrangler yet, and I’m already thinking about removing things... ;)

Got this image in my head now of all these Jeeps locked up in yards. And everyday they drive around, crushing up rocks, with chain gang prison blues music playing on the radios.

I am broken.

Mine has been in my basement since I removed it, once out you will never want it back in

@CatskillsAlex

I take my 2dr Wrangler back seat and stand it on end (it does easily) on top of a large square of 3" thick Styrofoam..... Then, I place a large oversized contractors garbage bag over it. Ends up being off the ground and covered well/protected.

I live in the country (Upstate NY) so I also place moth balls on top of the Styrofoam, all around seat, just in case a mouse comes around.

It's gonna be a long ride with you :giggle: Just kidding I like your questions. If I looked
for a cover to store the seat and tie it shut I would look for a new mattress shipping
plastic cover. Big enough and tough enough.

Great DIY advice! Thanks Rhinebeck01. I have similarly been warned about mice: apparently they have a taste for foam.

Good idea. Thanks, sweet water!
It’s not that I’m not social (although...), it’s that I can count on one hand the times when I had more than one passenger. When married friends come visit, they usually have their own car. So I’d rather make room for my golf bag, snowshoes and other fun goodies!!

For your sake I hope yours is actually built. But if it is, that leads me to believe cryptostickers isn't very accurate .
Yeah, I know. I texted my dealer. He's on vacation but is going to check on it in the morning. I'll keep you all apprised.

.

Congrats - it looks great!

Had to quote your post again, since it hasn’t been quoted 10,000 times yet...

Can you please take pics of every single nut and bolt?

Also requesting a drone pic from no less than 500 feet above ground level.

That is all, thank you.

.
I will get right om it! LOL
