Probably not going to help you, but I put the Rough Country covers on my seat bottoms, not the backs. I just want coverage for that. The backs are not a concern to me. The neoprene fabric works great for my use. Sliding in and out plus the dogs.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with BarTact. Although I don't like living in southern California, it did give me the opportunity to drive just over an hour to meet them in person and buy from their showroom/warehouse stock. Dominic, young man in the owner's family, was awesome to work with and I got exactly what I wanted. Very happy with my 392 front and rear bench covers. They're a small operation and work hard. 10/10.

Just ordered mine after this in person review. Looking forward to receiving them and thank you for the feedback!

I ordered Bartact seat covers 7 weeks ago and still don’t have them. I ordered black with grey inserts. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and radio silence. I’m gonna call instead.

I’ve heard they keep the black ones in stock, I ordered all black. I’d assume anything with color inserts are made to order, especially for the 392. It’s looks like they’ve expanded their product skus a bunch in the last 6 months, so may be some transitions going on. Good luck!

I recently ordered mine (black on black) and asked about delivery time. They said they had plenty of black on black in stock and I got them within a few days.

An FYI in case they haven't updated the instructions yet - the flap on the bottom back of the front seats must be folded up sharply and tucked inside the seat cover. My instructions did not show that step.
There's a good a pretty good install video on youtube by @o3djeeps.

After waiting over 7 weeks I called Bartact and asked about the status of my order. They said they would ship them the next day and they’re out for delivery today. Not sure what would have happened if I didn’t call. Now I just need my Jeep to put them on.

They do look great. Do they provide any feeling of softening the seats at all?

The Bartact covers add about 1/4" of foam padding under the nylon. Last week was my first long drive with them, about 8 hrs round trip. When I first got the vehicle I thought the seats were too hard and noticed it on long drives. I did not notice any discomfort on this recent trip - but that could also mean the seats have broken in a bit or I've become used to the seats.

Freedom edition sport upholstery have cloth inners and leather outers. If the cushions are the same you might be able to get a factory cover, and the matching rears. Mine say Oscar Mike on them but other special editions may be plain. Or have a local shop change out the embroidered panel.

FYI on the Bartact optional lumbar bladder. I have them on both sides and they work great. I like additional support in that area especially on long trips.

I don't even remember an option for the lumbar bladder, but surprised to still have not seen mine shipped. I wonder if anyone has pulled the factory leather to install a cloth kit/similar to the oscar mike version posted above?
