Haven't gotten them yet, but I'll post pics once installed. From the reviews I read these dont easily come out for cleaning. Is that true for the wranglers as well? Also any close up shots? Based on the photos I have seen the material looks like moving blanket material instead of a plastic/rubber like other mats.
Installed tuxmats in my 4xe few weeks ago. Really easy to get in, have kept form really well, awesome coverage. They are a harder cloth-ish material, almost like paracord but pliable. Not like the rubber or plastic from other manufacturers. I haven't had to clean them out yet. They do have a lot more side coverage than any other mat I've seen, so I'm guessing when others say they're hard to take out to clean it's because of that. I have no complaints 3 weeks in.From the reviews I read these dont easily come out for cleaning. Is that true for the wranglers as well? Also any close up shots? These mats look great! I love the side coverage. Any pics of the front?Installed tuxmats in my 4xe few weeks ago. Really easy to get in, have kept form really well, awesome coverage. Pic of the front driver mat. Love that the coverage goes all the way up the sides. Tuxmat did include little velcro 3m clips/strips to keep mats adhered to the plastic sides and liners, but I haven't used them yet. Wanted to be sure of fit and function before using. These mats look great! I love the side coverage. Any pics of the front?
The coverage on this thing is the best in the business that I’ve seen so far. Thanks for the pics!Pic of the front driver mat. Love that the coverage goes all the way up the sides. I debated buying the tuxmat cargo mat but I typically have golf clubs and my dog in my jeep at all times so the back seats are down 100% of the time, and ideally want something to cover both the cargo area and the seats. With that, I'm leaning towards the canvasback covers. I like the full coverage, but ability to go 40/60 if needed and also still access the cargo well.I went with the TuxMat myself, should get here Tues, followed by my 4xe sometime this month (hopefully!). Same price as Weathertech, more coverage. I like that they cover most of the trim pieces on the side. My kids just stomp all over them in my current Jeep.
Thanks for the pics, @Mcmett824! Did you get the cargo mat too?
Thanks and you have a sharp eye indeedstealth PPF on Sterling Gray? Looks really nice! Did you end up removing remainder of logos prior to application?
Wow, do you mind sharing ballpark cost? Can you wax? (I assume no abrasive compound/polish)Thanks and you have a sharp eye indeed! It's a Sting Gray wrapped in XPEL stealth film all over. I was skeptical given the cost but glad based on how it turned out. I have people stop over all the time to check it out. It certainly stands out from all the other Jeeps out there.
The film was applied directly on top of the hood decals but removed all the other decals and reapplied on top of the wrap after the fact. I also decided to just get rid of a few altogether to reduce the clutter for a cleaner look.
I don't want to hijack this thread, so will send you a PM with the details.Wow, do you mind sharing ballpark cost? Can you wax? (I assume no abrasive compound/polish)
This looks a lot better than the Mopar I have, and with better coverage, the 6 month Mopar is already loosing shape at the corners.Installed tuxmats in my 4xe few weeks ago.
