Side question what warranties are y’all doing? Found out that life time warranty is instantly void with a lift over 2 inches. Thinking of doing a warranty’s througj my dealer for 5 years or 100,000 miles for 1400. They would still cover if I lift it.
I believe the go to guy to talk to is Tom @ Hayes Jeep in Kalamazoo, MI. I have not spoken with him but his info was what came up for one of the best prices in the country for an OEM extended warranty. That said I believe that the warranty will cover any Mopar parts including lift. It should also cover anyone else lift up to 2 inches as well. That said generally on a warranty if you made a modification that could affect warranty it would usually only affect that one component or group of components. So an engine modification if deemed to be the problem shouldn't void the warranty on suspension. However if you did something like put on a 3.5" lift and 40" tires and the pinion failed or the transmission failed the warranty on the axles would likely be voided. Or just don't take it in for warranty repair on that item and avoid bringing it up. Spend some more time researching it, but typically I think it is on the manufacturer to prove that your modifications caused the failure. Maybe someone with more experience will chime in and can verify or correct me. Enjoy the ride. I'm still about 3-5 weeks out from getting mine.Finally got to take my sting gray home!! That looks great! And I don't just say that because it's the same exterior build as mine (save my soft top v. your hard top). Think I'm going to take Thirty-One's suggestion and add the Rubi-sized tires, and I'm planning tentatively to flip out the wheels for after-market ones, probably predominantly black.Finally got to take my sting gray home!!
