The one I’m looking at doesn’t have the steel bumper. Anyone know how much this costs, installed, and is it something that Jeep dealers usually stock?

As noted, dealership almost certainly won’t have them in stock, BUT you can easily find a set on this forum if your patient as lots of folks go aftermarket and will see their “take offs” at a reasonable price. Also, you may want to look at some aftermarket options. I’ve got the Roackhard Patriot Aluminum’s on my JL and love both the look and functionality.

I would have ordered one from Koons in Maryland along with the 6% off invoice. That way with the savings you can get most of the options that you wanted

If you keep that bumper in perfect condition you might get $150 for it because it looks better than the Sport bumper with those filler caps. Or someone might just need a replacement. Don’t drag it around the garage or let it slide around in a truck bed.

Congrats on making the right choice ;). Saw that the one you bought has the painted fenders. I'd highly recommend looking into Rok Blokz or similar to protect those rear fenders. The rubi tires pick up every little rock and fling them backward. I have a bunch of scrapes and scratches on mine in only 4k miles.

Around my area (Central Virginia) Jeeps are in such high demand these days there are no deals to be had. If you dont want to pay sticker price, step aside cause the person behind you will. Reminds me of the md-90s with Harley.
I waited 10 months for a new Dyna back then....by the time it got here I hated it.I sold it three weeks later for more than I paid, and I thought two guys were going to duke it out in my drive after the first guy there wouldnt sell to the second.....True story!

I have always had really fun sports cars. I hardly reach for their keys anymore.

My first Wrangler started out as my 3rd vehicle. It quickly became my daily driver. The same pattern for my last 3 Wranglers. My 2022 JLR is my latest and my daily driver. My TJ, JK, JLRs were/are all 2-doors.

^^ Good to hear Electrified. My plan is to tell them I am cross-shopping the Bronco vs the Wrangler, and that I won‘t be making a decision tomorrow. We‘ll see if that helps my negotiating position.
Negotiating is tough in this market for anything in-stock. Supply is still very low. Hardly any new invntory anywhere. I would be very surprised if they sold a new, on the lot Wrangler, for less than MSRP today. Your best bet by far is to order one for 5%-6% under invoice from one of the forum dealers.

Lol same here... pretty much traded my E92 M3 for my 392 Rubicon. Only car I've ever had that appreciated after I ordered it.

The flaps and some paint protection film on the rear fenders.

Congrats!

I am really surprised they had a couple on the lot for you to choose from. Were they 2021 or 2022s? What options?

Definitely apply some paint protection film on the painted fenders. Cover the entire rear fenders.

I still have a Red 2.0 Sport S on deposit waiting for this *&%@# home refi to go to closing. Underwriter must be a rookie, and solar panels are bothering her. In the meantime, I am starting to be drawn to the Gecko Sport S with 3.6 - decisions, decisions. That Gecko is a unique color is stating it mildly - I like it and dont like it at the same time. But I keep looking at it.
