Unfortunately they’re not. The bottom bolt is 14mm on the gladiator, and 13mm on wranglers.
My bad, yes you are right. My take offs included the hardware so I just swapped.

I think you would be fine if you used your rubi bolts though. Just as long as you torque it to spec... Regardless, no need to replace the bottom bushings if its gonna be a pain in the ass to remove. Just get new 14mm bolts

Update:

On road - big difference in dampening, driving over potholes and speed bumps. Ride is less harsh. Significant difference

Off road - (with 35 mt tires aired down to 17 PSI) Overall, I think it is worth the upgrade. I think I see a bigger difference in higher speeds vs lower speeds.

would recommend for a cheap upgrade

I just did this swap on my Ecodiesel JLUR and wow what a difference. While I’m sure it’s more than just witchcraft, the sure footedness on the highway combined with a softer ride is just amazing. For the rear upper bushing and sleeve, I wasn’t sure about using the OEM JL one as it looked a bit narrower (I did read here after that someone did it tho) and I wondered if the FOX bushing wasn’t maybe poly instead of rubber. I made a spacer for either side of the shock using acorn wheel nuts I drilled out to size (ghetto booty-fab, I know) and a washer and it was as tight as a ducks arse in the frame bracket. I did notice the front shocks were about 1/2” longer and the rears almost 1” longer. I took the plastic “guards” off, I don’t see the need for crap catchers that potentially could get filed with ice in the winter. Nice little upgrade. I’m on my way today to pick up the matching FOX steering stabilizer as well for the full kit. I feel like the gained stability shows where the OEM Rubi stabilizer is a bit weak. All in all tho, can’t go wrong paying $200 for a set of FOX shocks that never left the dealer lot. Previous owner got the molar lift installed before taking delivery and had all the stick parts thrown in the crate when he picked it up.

If you have 3.0 Diesel springs, for sure I would run the JT Rubicon shocks.

It’s what they should have come with. I have the stock springs with the teraflex spacer lift and shock extensions.

Yes, that's one of the many set ups I have tried on my 3.6 gasser.
I would say any factory Jeep springs are better road ride with the JT Rubicon shocks.

Would using washers as spacers cause any issues? They are just there to get the shock correctly aligned in the mount?

Washers are fine to use. Just are not as cool ;)

Use tape to hold a stack together when trying to slip into place. It helps.

Thanks for the response Kevin. I'm no suspension component expert. If I can avoid pressing out bushings (and potentially sell the takeoffs for a couple quarters) and still get an ok solution I'd be happy. Just picked up a set this weekend and ready to get them on.

Does anyone know the measurement of the spacer (how tall to make my washer stacks)?

our you using Rubicon or Mojave JT's ?

either you will need 5-8 or 8x4=32 on hand to work with. something like that. It's been awhile.

Rubicons. saw a set of Mojave on Facebook marketplace for $2k but I just can't justify that difference for what I will be doing in the near future.
