Been tracking my JL which just arrived from the factory to ALORTON, IL. From searching through other tracking, it looks like Jeeps that end up there get stuck there for two weeks. Does anyone know what Alorton does or is used for?

Ordered my Punkin 4 door sport on 3/22 and have checked each week for the past few weeks. 4/5 was stage D. 4/11 stage D1. 4/18 stage F. Just today I was told it's been approved for shipment, but shipment arrangements have not been completed, with an ETA of 4/29-5/9! Very excited. What I did find odd is that Jeep chat told me as of this week they can no longer provide status codes to anyone other than dealers and factory employees. While it personally doesn't bother me, I still thought it was an odd policy change.

It must depend on who you get with Jeep chat. I was told today, when chatting, that I was in “I” status.

Unfortunately for personal reasons we couldn't wait any longer. Really wanted Punk'n, but have made a deal on a Firecracker Red Rubicon--the only well optioned one within 150 mile radius of Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, found it outside of Austin.
Our Punk'n was ordered 2/26. Dealer had informed me 3 weeks ago it had a projected ship date of 4/20, today they checked and said projected ship date of 4/24, but it is still in D1 status today. If you want a well optioned Sahara it's available. Someday, perhaps within 30 days it will arrive at Helfman's in Houston, talk with Brian, he'll make you a good deal. Perhaps it's build will move fast now that we could no longer wait.

According to drillionaire (a reprocess manager at Jeep plant in Toledo) on Reddit, I'm finally in D1

He's talking about a "frame date" (which I guess is a completion date?) for next week. Hopefully this will be confirmed soon with the tracking spreadsheet

My Punk'n Rubicon arrived at the dealers today. Picking it up on Friday. Ordered on 2/10. That makes it 73 days or 10 weeks and 3 days .... but who is counting ....

The weld issue is getting worse everday. besides the poor welds, there has been a Broken tackbar on one, and cracked weld on another.

What do you mean getting worse and worse every day?? There has been some, but I haven't seen an increase is people claiming the latest deliveries have the same issue. The trackbar brake was back in February.

Well, the cracked weld on another JL was reported yesterday as part of the same thread. No build date reported yet.

Finally hit KZ ! with a current ETA for delivery to the dealership is 05/12/2018 - 05/16/2018.....can chat see the locations once it leaves the plant or does dealer have to provide updates after that point ?
