I feel unworthy looking at the lifts and wheels, but .... 1st week granite JLU Sport ... Mopar slush mats, Mopar cargo liner (backordered), Mopar hitch and harness ($$), figured out CarPlay (i.e. Read the OM), wiring radar detector tomorrow (thanks Homelink guy!), ordered MagnaFlow axle back (backordered), and we're planning a trip to Colorado and Utah.
Oh yeah, I'm down to about 200 a day on ordering stuff. :jk:

Haven’t tried it out yet, my back is dead for the night lol. Tomorrow morning though I will be taking that top off! (And praying I put it together right :))
It is totally worth it. Ive used mine at least 3 or 4 times now and it makes it super easy as a one person task. Total time is less than 10 minutes (bolts, front panels, roof)... stores easily as well

Upgraded headlights, fog lights and turn signals all to LED and AntennaX 13”
I've been reading through this thread from the beginning and have noticed several people have gone and swapped out LEDs with their halogen bulbs for their headlight, fogs, and marker lights. Please don't think I'm singling you out, I'm not. You just happen to be the last poster on the matter. I hope everyone here is open to not only constructive criticism, but shared experience from someone who converted his old beat up WJ to LEDs both inside and out as well. My advice to you all applies mostly to headlights and the fog light conversions.

Learn from my many mistakes and countless hours and money down the drain through multiple trial and errors.

All light bulbs and all headlight/foglight housings ARE NOT interchangeable. They ARE NOT plug-and-play.

Every type of bulb disperses light in a different way. That's why they each have their own housings built to direct and focus the light output in a safe and efficient manner for not only yourself but oncoming drivers as well. The easiest example that I'm sure most of you have heard and some of you have probably experienced yourself is with HIDs and halogen housings. A lot of people who run HIDs tend to just put them into their existing headlight housings designed for halogen light bulbs. The result? Not so crisp light output with bleeding around the edges, artifacts in the middle, and terrible distance coverage, not to mention that they blind drivers in cars around you. That's why retrofits exist and they solve all those problems mentioned above.

LEDs are no exception. If you think I'm being nitpicky, you need only compare the stock housings of the JLs running the stock halogen housings vs. the ones running the LED upgrade package. Notice how the halogen is just the typical big, open saucer shape while the LED one has a division in the middle? That division in the middle houses a lens that is curved properly to direct the LED light output safely at a distance with no artifacts and with a crisp cut-off line to avoid blinding other drivers.

If you really want LEDs that bad, just wait a bit longer. They came out with a fuckton of proper LED headlight housing conversions for the JK, there is no doubt that they will for the JL.

I know waiting sucks, but hey most of you have been or are still waiting for your JLs to be delivered. What's waiting a little longer going to do? :)

Couldn’t agree more with this. Optics are not just about a light source, if not directed/managed properly, efficient and powerful lighting can still be crappy as f*%# !

Looks like you will have a nice setup! I've never tried the Rustys setup, but have heard good things from the JK community.

I had a chance to "flex" out the JL today with the Skjacker 3.5-4" kit(Was testing bumpstop lengths to make sure my tires clear offroad.)

I have the base top. I’ve heard rumors of Jeep not getting to fix tops and replacing them. Maybe I can phenagle and pay extra for a premium top
Could you take some close up pics of the top? Particularly what the inside lining looks like?
