Did anybody get theirs installed? Any surprises?

I'm dying of anticipation over here!

And it seems like the tie rod did not get raised like the JK version ... at least I'm assuming because it's not mentioned in the description on Reid's site. A confirmation either way would be much appreciated.

They have two versions, one raised one not, for the JL.

When I talked to Reid Monday they said the tie rods are in the stock location but you can run the drag link on top or bottom

So on my little test drive on a pretty jacked up road, the steering feels more responsive, i had like a slight lag before between input and tire movement, very minor but i notice it. Also the deflection on small bumps that i ised to get i no longer feel. But time will tell once i put some more miles and freeway miles on it. Either way 1000% better than stock knuckles. The stock ones make me sick when you hold each one in a hand and see the difference. Why that came stock is beyond me.

Mine are supposed to ship on the 10th, hopefully I get the ball joints sorted out by then. Glad to hear you think that they made a difference in the steering. Hopefully these will be the last piece of the puzzle.

Right on. They were my last part lol. I have nothing stock up front besides the hubs, which are brand new.

I found some play in both the wheels today I would have put money on the fact it was the hub bearings. Unfortunately it’s the brand Ned Dana HD ball joints I just put in a few weeks ago. The lowers have about 1/16th play. I’m hoping I can get Dana to reimburse me and just go with the Dynatrac.

Do the Reid knuckles still take the upper camber correction sleeves? How much did you have to cut off the steering stops?

Oh thats a bummer, i love these dynatrac ones. Yeah they still take the camber sleeves, but they fit much better than in the aluminum, one was always high and one was always low, now they are dead even. And I didnt take any off the steering stops they were perfect for me
