I am planning on installing the 2” Mopar on my 2021 JLUR and would like to drive it straight to the alignment shop across town. Maybe ten miles. Will have 37x13.50s.

will this damage anything?

No...... alignment really not necessary with Mopar lift, there’s no adjustment for caster because the lcas are fixed. All they can do is check toe and straighten the steering wheel. Both easily done DIY.
Oh,, heck yes

I may throw an adjustable track bar up there We’ll see how far the axle moves. Thank You

Yeah, no worries..... even if you put on the adj track bar, just center your axle, check/set toe, then straighten steering wheel... done.

The way the Jl is designed the toe doesn’t change at all with a lift. Center the axle, and center the wheel and you are done.

Doesn’t change with the lift, but may or may not need to be adjusted with 37/13.50s. I always at least check it. It works best for me 1/16” toe in.

Exactly. Toe-in increases with tire diameter.

If you drive w the steering wheel too off center the TC freaks out, but it still doesn't matter much, although eventually you'd cook your brakes on one side.

Holding the TC kill button to totally disable the system might work - at the time I didn't know of this option (just bumping it once does NOT disable the nannies)

I thought that was only an option with the Tazer? They call it "Trac Kill", which fully shuts down the nannies with a 5 second hold off the button vs just desensitizing them in factory form.

Perhaps they were just pointing out a functional Easter egg? I didn't learn of the 5 second hold until installing the unit.

I dunno, but it's in the factory Owners Manual. Seems to work, but mine freaks out and says to Service everything: ABS, ESC, TC etc.

I can't toggle back without a complete shutdown and restart. But then the Tazer makes it latching, but only on the "first" mode, as if I'd just quickly depressed the button.

IOW to make TracKill latching with the Tazer I have to go to "Stage 2" nannies-panic mode and then "Stage 1" returns automatically with each restart.

I'm running a really old update of the Tazer, though.. don't even know which one

I keep the Tazer hooked up, for the live features. It works like normal after momentary presses, which resets them back on with a restart. If I do the 5 sec hold, it locks it into memory like the stop/start until I turn them back on with another 5 sec hold. In trac kill mode, the only light that illuminates on the dash is the traction control light that reminds that its off along with a single message upon startup.

Until recently, I was still on an older firmware version myself. Not sure which one, but it was right after the sleep mode update. I'm not a computer guy, so I was holding off the inevitable. Finally got tired of the fast flashing turn signal indicator and message on the dash after the AAL led and fender chop. The turn signals blinked normal, so I just dealt with it. Had to finally do the update, so the quick indicator fix would take. I was surprised at how many tweaks have been made over the last 2 years. Definitely worth updating.

Do you happen to know what 1/16” toe in equals from a degree perspective when viewing an alignment readout? Mine is .08/.07 degree and was curious. TIA

I think it’s .15 ish, I’m not 100 percent on that, but I think I'm close.

May be more of a stupid question but is that each side .15? My readout is .08 left and .07 right for total toe of .15. It drives fine but curious since this is where dealer set after TSB completed. I have 37x12.50s for reference. TIA
