Pop a top!

Hey y’all! I’m in distress after pulling in a low carport and ripping my top. I’m on the 2nd professional top and nothing fits! First one came from Best Top and it would pop open several times a drive and scare the hell out of me, so I sent it back. Second one came in from mopar parts.com and it’s too short on both ends! I have ordered 3 now and each one has been a COSTLY return. I called Mopar and they said they don’t sell to individuals. I can’t keep this up and it’s been a financial drain because all funds are still pending a refund. So can anyone advise the best premium soft top for a 2018 JL or I swear I’m just going to have to let it go...these mods are just one headache after another since I purchased almost a year ago. We have such a love/hate relationship now and it’s cold!

From what I remember, you might need to put the top under the sun the first time you install it to heat it up. Ant its going to be a very tight fit the first time.

I just put this top on from Bestop this past weekend. Fit perfectly, and I’ve had it 80 mph in the sunrider position and no issues.

Maybe reach out to @Bestop on here and see if they can shed some light. Mine is a 2018 JLUR.

Did u try adjusting the header latches? you can unloosen the screws and push them farther forward and then tighten screws....might make the difference of why it keeps popping open... also if you have the freedom tops and switch to the hardtop at any time you may need to readjust back to them.

Something is WAY wrong in that picture. Its like it's not even latched! Have you spoken with our Customer Service yet? Would you care to shoot me a PM with some more pictures? I'd be curious to see how your latches on the inside look in this picture.

The latches will break, look like its latched but bent back and plastic broke. I bought 2 when one of mine broke and keep the spare in the jeep.
