Sorry for the basic question. Nube here. I got interior leds to put under dash...one wire goes to either of the the constants...the other to one if the aux wires? And it should work right? What am I missing. I have 12v coming from the pink wire when I test it... Help...I tested the light with a 9v battery and they work.

One wire goes to the aux wire, one wire goes to the ground.

And the ground wire is where? Do I need to make my own and attach to body?

Theoretically...what would you use the pink or red/white wire for (the ones that go directly to battery or acc power)

Can someone tell me what step 2 is showing me in these instructions for the Mopar switch bank kit? I can't figure out which piece of trim that is. Thanks.

That makes sense now. The thing in the upper right is the open door. Thanks.

You would use the one that goes to acc for anything you wanted to have powered on when you start the vehicle such as a radar detector. You would use the one that goes directly to the battery for something you wanted to have constant power to such as a security camera that you would have on in parking mode, but you would want to have a battery monitor module connected so you don't run the battery dead.

Here you go. I haven't done the install yet, but I've gone over the instructions a few times and identified most of the places in the Jeep where things are and what to do. I don't think there is anything too difficult. One thing to note, I think the instructions omit one step somewhere before step 24: at some point I think you need to insert a wire on the harness into the male connector (part I.) I just got the repinning tool this week, so maybe this weekend I'll have a chance to work on it.

Sorry about the rotation, and it looks like you'll need to read from the bottom up.

Do you know what is the use of the female orange wire you disconnect and replace with the auxiliary switch male. The one you plug in to the new male with the provided connector? I installed mine but messed up all those cables because they didnt fit so I soldered the one to the bulkhead and crimped the other two. Thank you very much.

My ESS says it needs service but I'm not sure if that's the problem or it's because I disconnected the battery and need to drive it more
