What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Designed, 3D Printed and installed my custom Wireless (Qi) iPhone charger.
The microUSB cable is routed behind the dash and taps into the 12V cigarette lighter.
I use a thin magnetic case on my iPhone and it attaches securely to the charger.

That's really awesome. I always had trouble with them falling off in the summer but this one seems very secure. Right now I don't really have a good spot for my Note 8 so it rests on the right side of the 4wd shift boot.

This is a noob question but... where does everyone buy their accessories? Mopar rear cargo mat, non existent in real life. No one at my parts store or department knows what that is.

Yes, the wire is hidden inside the body of the holder.
I drilled a small hole for it through the plastic that's underneath the little rubber "mat" that's in that spot on the dash so if I ever want to remove the holder the rubber mat would hide the little hole.
I used screws to hold it in place (also hidden by the mat) but double-sided foam tape would work just as well.

No I wasn’t criticizing you, cause obviously if you want it, and the exact JL you want is sitting on the lot minus the tow package, that’s the right way to do it. It’s actually I think the only « package » you can have added down the road, so good call

That thread has instructions to configure and use them, but not install them. Thanks to everyone who chimed in though - good to know!

edit - ugh, I don't want to rely on the good graces of my dealership to reflash the uconnect, so I think I'll stick with my plan of ordering the JT with them.

You can just open the tailgate and access the rear without touching the window. If you need a larger opening to access the rear you would pop out the bottom and sides of the window and just flip it up over the top out of the way. No need to slide it to the side and completely remove it. This is where the new soft top design is nice as before you had stiff shitty zippers to deal with.
