That's a decent price. To tell you if it is a good deal I would need to know the residual and the money factor. Also what are the taxes where you are?
What price did you get for your sport s?

About 3.5% below invoice but they also gave me an extra $100 gift card and were about $300 less than other dealers on the doc fee. So they hit my target price which I had set at 4% below invoice assuming standard doc fees. I had some other criteria other than price and they were the only dealer out of 7 that met all my requirements.

They gave me an estimate of $325/month on the lease 36 months 15k/month no money down. But it won't be nailed down until the Jeep ships so I am taking it with a grain of salt.

With the math mentioned why not spend 150-200 more a month and finance? At least most of your investment will be to the principal and with such a high residual you will come out way ahead.
Agreed

Agreed
Certainly as the prices get higher the unreasonably high money factors start to make leasing a Wrangler less attractive. But paying $800/month for your car payment and having so much money tied into an asset that is depreciating is not attractive either.

The bottom line is that there is no way to buy a $50,000+ car that is attractive unless you have a lot of equity in your current vehicle to offset it. It is a shit sandwich no matter how you garnish it.
when you buy a Wrangler you can not think your getting a great deal unless it is used

Do Sahara depreciate a lot more than sports s? I got a quote for a Sahara at around 42k compared to a Sport at 36k ...6k difference and the residual is only 1k more on the Sahara...payment is a whooping 170+ on the Sahara to account for that I assume...dealer is not providing money factor for some reason so I might just stay with my order so they don't dick around. I'll go tomorrow to double check

Yes. Residuals are lower. Not sure why.

Check out this post for the residuals (Chrysler Bank):

Could someone check if the lease numbers have been released since its January?

Yeah, that is insane. Not sure what the hell math they're doing. My credit is over 750 so I need to shop around a bit more. I'm trying to get the deal like that guy in Queens or that .00135 MF.

Will keep you guys posted. Appreciate the input.
My guess by May the deals will be better

That looks like a great price on a loaded Sahara,, I didn't realize the Sahara got up the high in price. What dealership offer that?

I forgot to note, that is 15k miles. I’ll add that back in.

I actually had that price from a few local dealerships. This is 5% below invoice... the deals are out there, you just have to be persistent and show that you know what you’re talking about.

I did agree not to name the dealership publicly (I insisted that it would actually help them, but they asked that I not share it) and the guy I’m working with is a good honest guy, so I want to respect him.

I’m free to share the info privately, though.
