I don’t have a 392 but I wouldn’t post street times. They are kinda worthless. Track is the only real time.
I thought about that - a track slip is better "proof", but a GPS app is easier for me to get my times.

Good idea - I haven't seen the XR owners throwing down any times on this site...

... and probably "tune" or other way to document any changes to the speed limiter settings. These are all easily mid 12-sec from the factory, stock. The speed limiter is holding them back up top.

Thanks much for documenting these.

Being around drag racing, I don't recall anything else so SLOW, for how quick it is. Those trap speeds are really low for those ETs. I suspect the method of measurement is inaccurate compared to a real drag strip timing system.

... speed limiter. It's on the limiter the last 150' or so on the stock 392(non XR).

Are any of these tuned? Curious for those with tuning if it made any noticeable difference in seat feel.

Yep— from the earliest slips they were bumping the limiter, trap speeds don’t make sense. That said, times approximate my cousins B/G 409- 55 Chevy. 60 years ago but with a stock Jeep, impressive.
