I had been looking at the bilstein 8100's for a long time and finally got a chance to install them. The fit and quality is super nice and the on road ride is great so far.

I tried to do a decent install video for anyone thinking about doing it themselves also.

So far it's only been driven on the road but I seems really good, I was worried it might be too firm but it seems to work great. Hopefully once the weather warms up I will get to try them out offroad on our nex trip.

Watched the video last night and I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you get more miles on them. How is the back and forth body movement when coming back into your driveway. I know you mentioned that in the video, so I wondering what improvement you’ve seen in the body control under that scenario.

If they're anything like the 5160s they'll change a little bit as they break in. Congrats on the new shocks and thanks for filming the process!

I put 8100s on my JL 2 door X a month after buying my Jeep in July. They do ride a little firmer than the stock shocks which suffered Fade when you put them to any off road use. Now 6 months later with them settled in I love the ride both on the road and off road.

A LOT better on the back and forth movement mentioned on the driveway. I'm excited to get some miles on them and hopefully test them out on our next off-road trip once the weather lets us.
