I just installed these on my Xtreme 35 option Jeep though I am running additional 1.5in of spring spacers front and rear extended Mopar 2in lift front and rear sway bar links and removed the rear 1in stock bump stop extension and added the mopar 2in lift rear bump stop extension for correct bump stops for 37"s.
@PotterJLUR any updates on ride? curious the instructions say you need a maximum of 4.5" backspacing the xr wheels have ~5.2". I have AEV wheels with ~5.7" and wonder if they will work or not.

Finally got to do my first off-road trip with the shocks and had no rubbing even under full flex with stock xr wheels and 37 inch tires. I am very happy with the ride on and off road! I accidentally even jumped the Jeep 6-8 inches high and the landing was even smooth!

I wonder if they would clear the AEV 5.7 backspacing. it is funny that AEV sells the 8100 labeled ones and makes no mention of backspacing. Bilstein says the bodies are identical and only the valving is different. great photo.

I have the AEV 8100's on my non-XR 392 with AEV 3" HD springs. The ride quality and handling are great on and offroad. Done a lot of rock crawling with them, and had an opportunity to drive Rausch Creek's F-150 Raptor course in the snow at highway speeds without slowing down much for the corners and jumps. Handling is very predicable at the limits on an offramp, exhibiting minimal body roll.

My only criticism is that mine have steel shock and reservoir bodies, which are exhibiting minor surface rust nicks from being pelted with rocks and gravel while wheeling. But I wheel it at least every other weekend, and I don't baby it when it comes to mud and river crossings. And I daily it, even when the roads are salted.

the stock shocks are F 17.2 compressed and 23.5 extended front
and 17.74 compressed and 26.2 extended rear and the 8100's are close compressed but the extend length is 27" front and 29.5 rear so that might cause some issues when offroad with the coils coming loose. you would have to fully flex it out to see. with too much droop with out longer sway bar links can sometimes cause and issue.
Good info here, are these for the rubicon xtreme package?
