Sarge vs '41 color (with pics)

I have been debating trading my manual in for an auto. I went to look at a new Willys in '41 today. I am still undecided if it is a color I want to go to. I figured some pics might help someone make their decision.

Looking at them side by side, I'd go with the Sarge.

I love Sarge Green but '41 is like a 1/4 of the way from Sarge Green toward Gobi. Kinda the opposite of Gator being about 1/4 of the way from Gobi toward Sarge Green. If I were choosing between them I'd go with '41 but I like them both a lot and they are my top two favorites followed by Gobi, Gator, Crystal Granite, then Anvil and/or Stingrey.

Idk ‘41 looks too brown to be Olive Drab. I like Sarge better. Needs a satin/flat finish though.

Today I went to a Jeep dealership that had a whole line up of Jeeps parked on their lot. They had all of the JLs in a group and all of the JTs next to them in another group. The last in line of the JLs happened to be a '41 color and the first in line of the JTs happened to be a Sarge Green. So, they were parked side by side. I got to say, I like the '41 color better myself. They are both "olive drab", but the Sarge Green is more "olive" and the '41 is more "drab". I think it is the perfect color for a Jeep. My wife says its the same color as dried out cow shit. But if I were buying today, I would get the '41 color, I love it. The model we looked at was a Rubicon, and I see that in addition to the big screen TV on the dash they have finally stopped the hideous red dash that Rubicon's came with. That was nice to see.

I had a 2013 JK in Commando Green. I think that was a very close match to the new '41 color.

Agreed. The first color that comes out in a flat finish will have my vote.

been debating trading my 23 Willys sarge green in for a 25 Willys in '41. based on what ive seen in pics, I want to love '41... but sarge green just looks better IMO. can't wait to see one in person to decide.

That was my thoughts as well, while I like '41, I don't think I like it better than Sarge. I imagine myself opening up my garage door and when I imagine the Jeep there being either color, the Sarge one makes me happier.

When I was deciding on ordering a 2D MT Rubicon I looked at the '41 color but only on the Jeep.com website. I was not impressed. I ordered my Jeep in Anvil color and that will be fine and easy to live with. But, I later saw '41 in person -- if I had to do it over again, I would order the Jeep in '41. Looks really nice in person.
