A group of us from the local jeep club, Montgomery County Jeep Society, took a weekend trip over to Hidden Falls Offroad Park in the Texas Hill Country this weekend (6-6 to 6-8). We had a great day of wheeling all over the park on 6-7 from about 10:00am to about 10:30pm. There were 6 Jeeps, a side by side, and a modded buggy. We had a blast. NO ONE broke anything and we climbed and descended ledges and crawled over rocks. I was really surprised by how well my Jeep handled in the rocks and on the ledges. Mods on mine include Clayton Offroad Overland plus 2.5" lift with 37" BF Goodrich KO2 on fifteen52 wheels. I have a '24 Willys which includes the M210 and M220 axle with a rear locker. Here are some pics of my Jeep from the weekend and a couple of sunset pics of all our Jeeps on Wildcat Mountain.

Any Badge hunters need a Texas badge, this park, the entire park, is a Badge of Honor. We were all impressed with the updated trail name markers. All ranges of Jeeps could have a great time out there.

Agree. They finally got it together and placed a lot of much clearer trail markers all over the park. Now, the map you get could still use a little updating, but overall it is much better. It's a fun place, and you guys definitely look like you had a great time! Great pics! :like: :like:

@mclean2183 Hey!!! That was fun watching the buggy climb that side. The last time I was out there several years ago a lot of signs were not there or falling apart. It was good to see trails well marked. Agree with the update needed to hard copy and online map.

It's been a few years for me. Signage was awful. Didn't know if you were on a 2 star trailer or instant buggy death trail 😳

LOL, so true. It really is a LOT better now. Not perfect, but they are getting there. They still need to work on the east side more with signage. Not sure what is up with that, but overall, definitely better and worth your re-attack!

I need to get out there with the family. I'm in Magnolia and would like to join if your group plans on another trip. I don't have a jeep group with this JL like I have had in the past with my TJs.
I’m not part of a group either and plan to go out there July 4th weekend I have a little 24 2door jl with 2.5” lift and 33’s nothing crazy still learning everything

We can do that for sure. We are a local jeep club in Montgomery County Texas called Montgomery County Jeep Society. We have meetups periodically. Look up our Facebook page.
