After 4 years of saying we need to go to Southern Missouri Offroad Ranch - we finally made it down. Hands down the best marked and cleanest park we've been too. Trails are plenty wide to get down, rocky and muddy terrain as well as the creek crawl (PeeWee's Crossing.) Must do for those planning a trip - definitely the badge trails PeeWee & Guard Rail, PeeWee has a bypass for each challenge, I don't think you'd want or need to bypass anything. Guardrail is a steeper hill to get down into and up out of the trail - 2.5" lift and 35's were plenty to get us through it. I could see Guard Rail being a lot harder in the rain or after a lot of rain. Dry weather, throw it in 4L and crawl up. Rocker Knocker is another great trail, the main boulder in the middle of the trail you can either crawl over or squeeze your way around - which does not seem like the move, it would put you very off camber with barely any room to maneuver. Tons of great trails - the staff there said if it starts raining move each trail up 1 rating, so keep the weather in mind!

Facilities are clean and there is a nice park for the kiddos to play at. They have an RTI ramp and some other fun obstacles right before you get to Guard Rail. When you're coming off PeeWee and driving on Ranch Road there is a tire swing too - which the kids had a lot of fun on. Overall a great family oriented offroad park!

Damn, wish I would've known you were going. I would have met you. I live about an hour from SMORR.

SMORR is a great park. I am fortunate enough to live less than an hour away from it.

I try to go once a month.

We should meet up sometime. I can go just about any Sunday. I work on Saturday.

Excellent park! Honestly one of the best we've been to.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
It has been on my list for a few years. It is closed in the winter and that is usually the time of the year that I could go as I head to the southwest from Michigan. I might make it there in 2026 on our way home from the southwest. We typically wheel the west clockwise and in 2026, we are getting a late start to we are going counter clockwise in our travel. So we should be able to stop at the park in June.

Disney Oklahoma, It is a worth a day trip and about 170 miles from SMOOR. So if you can fit it in. It should be added to your off roading adventures.

My daughter lives in Tulsa, OK and has told me to go to Disney. Life just gets in the way and I can only do one or two long trips a year with my work hours.

Disney is a great spot, we took a trip down 3 years ago and spent 3 days down there - that's a bit too long. Not much else to do down there besides casinos! Day trip would be much better!

It is a great day trip. You can test your Jeep there and it is just fun. I wish SMOOR was open when I was in the area. I did Kansas Rocks, Disney, and Hot Springs on my way to the Southwest in 2023. Well and camped on the beach in Louisiana. too before wheeling at Hidden Falls in Texas.
