So we packed up and headed out to a spot that on Google map, showed a few potential tenting sites next to a river, but when we got there, the road was non-existent anymore...?‍?...

So we kept going and turned up a dirt road and found a spot close to a lake in a clearing. Nothing but peace and quiet!!?

It was a full moon that night, clear skies and only the sound of the wildlife. We watched the stars and sat by the fire till bedtime.

Next morning, after a peaceful night sleep, woke up to a a breathtaking view.... made coffee for the missus and I, and started a fire for some heat.....

We left our camp site, leaving little to no foot print, and started our way down back home. We drove through Fundy National Park, stopped for some coffee and carrot muffins ?? and enjoyed more of the sceneries in Alma.

We then decided to go to Crooked Creek falls in Riverside-Albert, beautiful but it was a steep descent and what felt like a steeper climb...lol...

Looks and sounds like the picture perfect Jeep Overlanding adventure. Have you used your trailer much? I have been looking at Overlanding trailers out of the corner of my eye for a while and am on the fence. Any comments on your experience using one would be most welcome. Glad you're back safely and had a great time.

Honestly, this was our first trip with it....I built it last winter and got the tent about 4 weeks ago...

It was great! We love the ease of setting up and the extra room to carry gear, nothing goes inside the jeep.

We love tenting and this just accentuated it!

And if we set up camp and want to go exploring, we don't have to close everything up and pull up camp, it's all in the overland trailer!... not the jeep...

This approach has so many benefits and is why I'm considering it. Thanks for the input and have fun!

This made me smile. Awesome trip report from back home! I grew up in Cape Breton and my wife in Bathurst, so we’re very familiar with those areas you were in. Bit different for us now as we live just outside Los Angeles, so our Overlanding often includes Death Valley and the Sierra Mountains. :) Always great to see Jeeps in the Maritimes!

Oh yeah, very different! Yet, in random spots, we get reminded of home, too. ?

The biggest difference we appreciate is the almost total lack of black flies here! LOL Plenty of other things that replace them, but still…nice to not have those little buggers around! ?
