Utah is amazing in more ways than one, however if you are traveling to Moab from Bryce Canyon you must take Scenic Byway Route 12. It is not the fastest route however it is one of the most scenic routes in the country IMHO. No worries with the RV and tow vehicle.
Good to know, especially with the rv

I'll second the San Raphael Swell area in Green River. It won't take you far off your route and will take you through some very unique terrain. Check out the Black Dragon trail, and easy, no rock crawling ride with petroglyphs not far off of I-70. There will be mud and snow this time of year however. If you want just a little bit of rock crawling without going all the way to Moab, there is the Devil's Racetrack trail in Green River. Fun trail with only a bit of challenge at Fix-it Pass.
I'll also add another vote for Veyo pies. Our club makes a regular ride there.
If you do go to Moab you'll want to spend at least a week, even if you only do scenic rides.

more great intel! This is our recon trip. I’m new to jeeps, but have spent a little time off road in a Toyota 4x4 a few years ago…most of my off-road experiences the last decade or two was in Wildland fire rigs on the west coast wildfires. Some good experience, and at times, fun too…
