Just the Jeep I test drove. Fit and finish was no good, wind noise, sloppy steering.. You know.. nothing I wasnt expecting. I did look around and see if there was anything obvious. It sat on the lot for a couple of months before I got it.Note that you test drove both before signing on the dotted line.
There are frequently posts here where someone bought a brand new Wrangler with an obvious defect. I always wondered how they'd be (insert appropriate derogatory term) enough to do that. Not test driving it would explain a lot.
The first time I saw and drove the civic was taking it home.
For new cars to have manufacture defects that can be noticed during the 10 minutes test drive, it would be totally different subject.
Edit: What I am trying to say is you definitely should test drive. But to me, I wont show up to the dealer show room until I have my mind made. And test drive or not generally wouldn't effect my decision.
