Background: JLU Rubi (Diesel), about to get a 3.5" Metalcloak Game Changer lift. I'm fairly certain I want Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws (Have them on my other jeep and love 'em). However, I want to find some good 17" wheels that are lightweight, backspacing 4.5 or less. I care less about cost than I do about quality -- I've run my jeeps on some difficult trails, and I've learned that "cheap" wheels seem to break beads more often than higher-end wheels. Note that I'm not looking for beadlocks.

Ok, let's hear some opinions!

I prefer KMC's XD series wheels. Here's my XD138 Brutes. I especially like the double bead design and the hidden lugs gives them a cleaner look.

Nice. I was considering the KMC 540s, but I’ll look at those, too.

Those 540 Recons are sharp looking. The regular KMC wheels will generally be lighter weight, but their XD series is geared towards extra strength for standing up to offroad abuse. Either will be top shelf as far as quality.
