What air pressure are you running?
I started at 34lbs then to 32lbs then to 30lbs and they're not too bad at that. Those are cold temps they seem to come up a couple of pounds after driving a bit. Gonna leave them at the 30 for a bit but may go back to 32.lbs.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
I'd also echo your reply, but I'd say Hell Yes!
Great choice there.

I screwed up on my wheel purchase. At least I learned from it though.

I got Wildpeak AT3W which are a D Load and I wrapped them on an 8" rim. With the light Jeep on a D load tire and a narrower rim, I'm running 24psi and the chalk test shows the whole width of the tier still not touching the ground. I have chicken strips on my tires.

I think I might have been okay with a 9" rim but at this point, I spent too much so I'm not buying new rims. I'm wondering if I went with a C load, if I'd still have the same issue. The tires just look funny with no wear for about 1" on the outside of the tire.

Oh well, they'll even out in a little while, and they're a good tire ^^^.

I have D load Mickeys now vs. my previous E load Patagonias, ride is quite a bit better on the Mickeys and most of the tread is laying flat at 33psi, not really wanting to go any lower w/ the psi, and didn't want a C load. IMO the D load is a good compromise w/ comfort and durability.

The AEV are 8.5 inch wide rims and the Mickey Thompsons are D rated. You should be ok but 24lbs seems a bit low.

They look awesome! I've always preferred the look of 5-spoke wheels.

I'm also interested in hearing about how those specific tires handle rain and snow, after you get some time on them. The Baja Boss M/T's are at the top of my list for the next set.

I've had them for over 1.5 years and driven in plenty of snow and some rain with them.

They handle rain very well with the stock siping. Better than most other MT's I've had.

In deep snow, they provide excellent traction. On compacted snow/ice, they handle about as well as any other MT. Not dangerous, but something you definitely need to be paying attention to when driving. I had additional siping added and they now are very predictable and provide good traction on compacted snow/ice. They behave similar to a good set of AT's now, but with the added benefit of being able to move through deep snow.

Thanks for the great info, Guy! They seem to get positive reviews on YouTube, but reviews from this community always carry more weight with me.
