Thank you for all the kind shout outs. I work for discount Tire and still purchase the warranties. I had 3 road hazards on trailers last year that replaces the tires free. One was on it's first trip in the desert dry camping. I had a stick go through the sidewall.

The guys working out in the bays at Discount Tire are amazing. They work hard and fast every day and still have a smile on their faces.

Thank you for putting a smile on my face on a Friday afternoon.

Can’t buy advertising like this, I reckon. Y’all are just good people to do business with.

Thank you for your comments. I was a regular Discount Tire buyer for more than 25 years before I worked here. I always the way I was treated as a customer and now know why. Our attitude comes straight from our awesome founder since 1960. He wants everyone to be honest, fair and do what we believe is right. If we live and breath that everyday life will be better.

I'm usually iffy on buying the extended warranties but the warranty deal I got from @Discount Tire on here was too good to pass up. These guys are really fantastic to deal with. A large bit of insurance for a fairly small price. Any problem with one single tire will more than pay for the warranty in this case. DT is really great - both online and in-store.

I'm kind of surprised there's so many that don't buy tire warranties. I've used them tons. I usually have 2-3 cars at a time all with different expensive (and often hard to find in stock) tires and have to deal with a tire issue at least once a year. Less so on my Jeep but my other cars with sports tires (like 315s, ET Streets, etc). With my Jeep its great for free balances when I finish offroading.

Totally get the certificates if you own other cars that get nails often (like us) Bc we live in construction zone heavy reno Nevada, where subcontractors are NoT held liable (yep) without 100% burden of proof that it was their nail. Well we’ve gotten on average two nails a year per car.

On top of that I bought the jeep for the sole purpose of off-roading not mall crawling. If you buy tires from discount tire direct like myself ask them if they can do better on the price of the certificates. I got one tire for free bringing down the price.

If your going to be mall crawling or light Offroad trips a few times a year you probably don’t need the certificates.

The one time I didn’t it cost me. That insurance is cheap and Discount Tire has been great!

If you’re wheeling you’re gonna get side punctures. If you’re only going to the mall then, why did you buy a Jeep?
