24% markup. Idk This sounds like they are simply making numbers up. The only Jeep I see with an insane mark up around me is the 392. Dealerships asking 40% and more. Go buy any flagship model at any dealership though. On top of that there are manufacturers like Toyota that won’t let you order a car, dealer stock is your only option. I ordered my Jeep at MSRP and you can order them lower than that from places listed on this site. The article is…click bait, even if I saw it in my apple news feed too.

Sounds like a deal, until you do the math on the exchange rate today ($1.00 USD = $1.36 CAD). That’s $62,560 before taxes duty and freight in Canuck bucks.

On a different note altogether, you’ve got a Shiba too, I take it? My Kenai here is 10 this year…. Handsome feller that he is…. ?

Lol. That describes the breed in a nutshell, my friend. I love Kenai like a son (my sons say he’s the favorite), but he can be a real bastard.

He lost his life long companion earlier this year; Meekah - my daughters little Bichon Shihtzu. He grew up with her. Abused her like crazy when we first brought him home, little bundle of teeth that he was…. But he grew to love her. Cancer took her, ultimately. Three weeks before we knew it was time though, we saw changes in him. He started letting her eat first in the morning, something he had never done. When we took her in, he was heart broken. He never got to say goodbye. He didn’t eat at all for two days. He stayed out one night on the deck until Three am, wouldn’t come in when I called him. Stared depressed out the windows all day….. so we decided some six months later to try to find him a companion…. We bought a little girl, a Keeshond pup. The most submissive in her litter. He wants nothing to do with her. He’s not mean with her, he ignores her. Won’t spend time with her even in the same room. I sure hope that changes, she so wants to play with him. …Maybe after her first cycle he’ll feel differently. In the meantime, all I can do is try to reassure the little guy. Walk him and give him rides in the Jeep; he loves both.

I understand-we lost our 15 yr old Lab two years ago. He was Akai’s best friend and it took the little guy a long time to get over it.

I always liked Akitas….. absolutely beautiful dogs. Personalities very much like Shibas - and obviously they’re related. Sorry, 8 years is far too early to lose a friend like that!
