Tom, I’m receiving my Tripro Bumper kit today. I’m thinking about a grill mount, or a bull bar mount.Has anyone tried to mount the Wolfbox front camera in the grill?
If you mean the back camera, yes. My @WOLFBOX CAR LIFE front camera is the complete mirror style, so that would not be possible for me. I will look up my pics when I did mine, BUT I only did it as an experiment. Since I only wheel 3-4 times a year at most, the rear camera was better suited in the rear for me. HAD the triple system been out before I got the 900Pro, I probably would have gone that route.Has anyone tried to mount the Wolfbox front camera in the grill?
Can't find my pics but the rear camera looked like what I suspect the new triple camera system (front) will look which was great!Has anyone tried to mount the Wolfbox front camera in the grill?
Yes the jl mirror bolts to the header with 3 bolts which you will see once you lower the trim above the windshield. Their “factory mount” uses the same mounting location and hardware.I have a question about the OEM mirror mount system, for replacing the OEM mirror with the Wolfbox one. It doesn’t appear, according to the instructions, to be compatible with JLs, as our mirrors do not mount on the windshield glass.
I have not pulled the trim around my mirror yet; am nursing a sore back. Is it truly compatible?
Terry, thanks! The photos in the instructions threw me off.Yes the jl mirror bolts to the header with 3 bolts which you will see once you lower the trim above the windshield. Their “factory mount” uses the same mounting location and hardware.

Tom, it comes with a mounting bracket. My thought is to put the bracket behind the grill, the camera in front of the grill, and bolt the bracket to the camera, sandwiching the grill between the two. Thanks, I just can't find good solution for mounting in the front grill.
There’s an easy way to make it work on the grill, with the supplied hardware.I have the 2025 grill with no camera, I don't think the regular wolfbox camera fits there. I'll try to pry it open and 3D print a thin shell for it to make it fit on the grill.
