The hood deflector is available now, my understanding is that the window vent shades won't be until after SEMA, which is the first few days of November. I will be seeing the company at the show and will report back.

I have the hood deflector on my JLUR and I love the look, better than all the cheesy smoked plastic ones I had in the past on my JK's. I like the fact that it stretch from under both hood latches on the hood, makes it very sturdy and I love the look

I have the in-channel AVS ones, the fronts are good, but the rears are junk because you can't roll down/up the windows without them catching because there's a tab at the back part of the visor. You could probably just clip that part off though.

Just like the first set I purchased. I had too trim the rear also. I think they sold me the ones for the JK. I finally took them off. I didn’t like the way they were so tight in the window channel.

Yep, I saw the prototype in person at SEMA last week. The good news is that I think they look awesome. The not so great news is that they likely won't be ready for ordering until late this year or early 2019.

As for me, I plan on waiting as I liked the complementary look to the hood deflector.

Generally, as I reviewed all the major and boutique brands at SEMA for JL accessories, is that products are coming online slowly but surely. From a manufacturers point of view, they have a market of over 2 million JK's buying from them and the JL's started at 0 last fall and have reached around 200,000 or so (haven't been able to find current sales numbers for JL only).

Every brand I visited with indicated that they are full speed ahead on JL development, but wanted to take their time to create JL specific products and not just "make their JK parts fit".

I'll be making an announcement on this Forum later this week on how to get these vents and the hood deflector.

I have been looking all over for window vent shades. The folks at AVS don't seem to have the design fully cooked yet. I was able to place an order but I was immediately informed that they were up for re-design and wouldn't be available until the end of the month. And that was in July!

Turns out that was a luck break for me. I had already installed a hood deflector from Focus Auto Design.

So i reached out to them to see if they had any plans for window shades and it turns out that in July they announced at a SEMA conference their plans to introduce matching window shades to the hood deflector. Here is a pic from their press release and here is a pic of the mold that they sent me to show that they were coming.

I really like the look, so I am going to hold for the release of these instead or any others. I love matching parts on my ride.

Do you have a direct link to the hood deflector with the rivet look? I tried, but no rivets.

They will be $120 in the store I annonce later this week . $140 list.
I'm confused. Your original post in this thread from August said you had already purchased the hood deflector and now you are waiting on the window vents. In this post, you said the hood protectors will be announced later this week. Can you clarify? I had assumed the hood deflector was available (back in August) and that the window vents would be available in the near future since you had already purchased the hood deflector back in August.

I'm sorry for the confusion, the hood deflectors are available now. I had a pre-production unit, but they are generally available now at online stores. The window vents aren't even at pre-production unit stage, just their demo units. I expect to get a pre-production unit in the next month or month or two and will post pics.

I'm going to be announcing a new online store later this week that will carry both of these products. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the clarification. Do you have a link to one of these online stores that carries the hood deflectors with the rivets? I googled for it and couldn't find it. Also, do you have any pictures of what the window vent with rivets? Prototypes in place on a JL or JK? I want to make sure I will like the window vents before ordering the hood deflector (which looks awesome by the way).

It is actually my online store that I will be announcing this week. I will be carrying the hood deflector and then the window vents when they are released. I'm trying to get them to send me more pics, but with the lead up to SEMA they were very busy, but more pics are coming. Here is what they released to the public: http://bit.ly/2F2qNti
