Hi, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, I couldn't find clarity on the following:

Would upgrading my shocks from "Rubicon Red" (stock on Willy's JLU) to Fox 2.0 help with a smoother highway experience? The car drives well, but feel it could be improved when it comes to "jolts" at high speeds on the highway. Based on the other threads, not sure if new shocks would make things better or worse.

Currently I don't have a lift, the only mod is new tires (32" KO2s).

Thanks!

I don’t think with a basically stock rig you are going to see much difference, Jeeps ride rough-JL’s are light years from the old CJ’s and YJ’s, but no one has ever talked about a smooth ride in a Jeep?

My 2022 jeep Altitude rides rough so I ended up changing all 4 shocks to Rancho 9000XL adjustable and set the front shocks on the softest setting and the rears on setting 4. Huge difference in comfort, still handles great without the jolts. And without breaking the bank!

Thanks for the input. I'll check out Rancho.

Also took some speed bumps at decent speed ... wow ... I get it. That was impressive.
