On a completely unrelated note, have you noticed how many BMW drivers are trading in for Wranglers?
True story:
On the morning of my JLU delivery appt., as I waited for relevant staff to assemble the ppwrk. for my signature, I watched as a woman walked into the showroom and approached the first salesman that she saw. She practically begged him to get her out of the $750 monthly payment that her BMW, which she arrived in, was costing her.

I'm not as well-versed on the BMW line-up as I used to be, but if I had to guess, I'd say hers was a 3- or 4-series sedan.

I remember hoping that she found the financial relief that she required, and that she learned the lesson that that episode should have taught her.

Having to take a đź’©
A couple of years ago, on the way home after a pleasant lunch at Olive Garden, I stopped to fill up the Jeep. Just as the tank was nearly full, Nature called.

Actually, she didn't call so much as scream.

In calmer circumstances, I'd have moved my vehicle away from the pumps before going inside the convenience store that most gas stations now have. Not that day. I replaced the nozzle on the pump, asked my wife to retrieve the receipt, and quick-walked inside and straight to the blessedly unoccupied bathroom.

Lunch that day was just a rental.
